4WD model starts at $38,795
GMC has announced the 2015 Sierra Elevation Edition will carry a starting price of $34,865.This special edition brings several styling tweaks such as body-colored grille surround, bumpers, mirror caps, door handles and side moldings. It's also visually distinguishable by its LED headlights and blackened 20-inch alloy wheels while inside there's a 4.2-inch touchscreen display for the IntelliLink infotainment system.
Available with four exterior paints, the full-size truck also comes with power-adjustable & heated side mirrors, LED cargo box lighting, remote keyless entry as well as a 110-volt power outlet and support for 4G LTE connectivity and Wi-Fi hotspot.
The base $34,865 has a 4.3-liter V6 EcoTec3 engine delivering 285 bhp & 305 lb-ft and can be optionally had with a 4WD system but in this case the starting price jumps at $38,795. GMC is also offering a beefier 5.3-liter V8 EcoTec3 with 355 bhp & 383 lb-ft available from $35,960 in 2WD guise whereas the 4WD model starts at $39,890.
On top of these prices, customers can add all-terrain tires, trailering package and a rear vision camera jacking up the price even further. It should be mentioned the Sierra Elevation Edition goes on sale this month and is based on the Sierra 1500 double cab version in 1SA trim.
