Volvo's Entry-Level XC90 T5 Arrives In The U.S. Priced From $44,495

A new entry-level Volvo XC90 variant has just been introduced into the US, dubbed the T5.
Joining the T6 and T8 models, the new XC90 T5 comes installed with a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder delivering 250 hp and 258 lb-ft of torque. The only transmission available will be an eight-speed auto but customers will have the choice of front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive.
Unlike the T6 and T8 models, the XC90 T5 will only be available with seating for five, rather than the seven of its bigger brothers. Despite that, it still comes well-appointed with a number of luxuries and advanced technologies.
For starters, the interior of the T5 is outfitted with 10-way power adjustable front seats, a navigation system with a 12.3-inch digital display, cruise control, Bluetooth, lane departure warning, automatic emergency braking, keyless entry/start, a panoramic sunroof, engine stop/start, rear parking sensors and a review camera. 18-inch alloy wheels also come standard.
For those looking for even more create comforts, a Bowers & Wilkins audio system can be optioned as can full LED headlights, heated front and rear seats, adaptive cruise control, a heated steering wheel, blind spot warning and a 360-degree view camera.
When optioned with front-wheel drive, the Volvo XC90 T5 starts at $44,945 with all-wheel drive adding $2,000. By comparison, the entry-level T6 is $3,850 more and the T8 plug-in hybrid is an extra $22,150.

Single Owner Porsche Carrera GT Expected To Sell For Over $850,000

While being outperformed by modern day supercars, the Porsche Carrera GT rightfully remains one of the best and most desirable cars ever produced.
Launched in the same year as the Ford GT, Ferrari Enzo and Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren, the Carrera GT is unique as it utilises a race-derived 5.7-liter V10 engine, known for being one of the best sound production engines ever created.
While prices of the limited-run Enzo have sky-rocketed in recent years, Carrera GT's have largely failed to break the $1 million barrier and later today, one particularly stunning example will be sold by RM Sotheby's.
The German supercar is expected to fetch between $850,000 and $925,000 and is a 2005 example. Impressively, it has only had one owner since new and been driven fewer than 1,600 miles in over ten years. It recently underwent a $24,000 service courtesy of Paul Miller Porsche in New Jersey and will be sold with the original books, two keys, a valet key and the optional seven-piece luggage set sold new with the car.
The interior of the car is just as stunning as the silver exterior with it combining dark red leather across the seats, dashboard, transmission tunnel and steering wheel. There are also a number of carbon fiber components and of course, the iconic wooden shift knob.

Bentley Bentayga Celebrates Europe Market Entry

A couple of months after the first Bentayga rolled off the assembly line, Bentley celebrated its market entry in Europe by bringing it to the Austrian Alps.
The SUV's Alpine debut coincided with the Kitzbuhel ski-race and the automaker took advantage of the Austrian event as the Bentayga was on display at the foot of the Streif ski run, with Regional Director of Bentley Europe, Robert Engstler, keeping close.
"We had a very strong year 2015 with Bentley growing our sales by 10 per cent in Europe to a total of 1,695. We were able to commit significantly to the success of our company and engage our customers with Bentley vehicles", said the firm's exec.
Meanwhile, in several European countries, Bentley has sold all units of the Bentayga for this year. This is a huge success considering that the powerful SUV costs €208,500 in Germany and £160,200 in Britain, and that is before any options are added to it. In the U.S., the automaker offers the vehicle from $229,100.
No matter where the Bentayga arrives, the same 600hp 6.0-liter W12twin-turbo V8 engine is used in all units, for now at least, as a diesel is believed to join the lineup in the future, with approximately 430hp squeezed from the 3.0-liter V6 TDI engine used on the Audi RS5 TDI Competition Concept.
