Ice Blue Lamborghini Diablo SV on Sale for £265K

Ice Blue Lamborghini Diablo SV 0 600x383 at Ice Blue Lamborghini Diablo SV on Sale for £265K
If you are one of those people who are still mourning the death of the old vicious, tough, hard-core Lamborghinis, well good news! A 1998 Lamborghini Diablo SV has just become available for sale in the UK and it has some really juicy specs.
The Diablo was the last of pure-bred Lambos before the company was bought by Audi and infused with a heavy dose of German commonsense. So it is fair to say that Lamborghini Diablo SV is a real man’s Lamborghini with a massive 490bhp V12 engine, a 5-speed manual gearbox, rear-wheel-drive, and a top speed of more than 200 mph.
What sets this Lamborghini Diablo SV apart, besides the one-off Ice Blue paint job, is a number of special features fitted to it. This car was prepared by Lambo for the 1999 British Motor Show and original bought it straight from the show. The car comes with SE side skirts, a carbon fibre gear lever, a performance grade stainless steel exhaust system and a two-tone alcantara interior with grey, light and dark blue shades and blue contrast stitching.
This car is currently on sale at Super Veloce Racing in the UK with 6,941 miles (11,171 kilometres) for £265,000. The kit is complete and includes a fully detailed history file, full Lamborghini service history, both keys and every original accessory in place, including the rare Lamborghini umbrella.

1980 Porsche Bisimoto 911BR Set for Auction

Porsche Bisimoto 911BR 0 600x342 at 1980 Porsche Bisimoto 911BR Set for Auction
It’s as if Mecum Auction’s Monterey event is going to the last exotic car auction ever because they keep adding cars to the lineup, and each one better than the last. One of the latest additions to the list of cars going under the hammer next month is this Porsche Bisimoto 911BR.
Unlike most of the other cars to be sold at Mecum Monterey sale, this 1980 Porsche Bisimoto 911BR will not benefit the proprietor. This one is slated for charity as all the proceeds from its sale (estimated at $135,000 – $175,000) will go to Boys Republic, a non-profit treatment community for troubled youngsters in Chino Hills, California. So besides being extremely cool, this car is also quite noble.
As for the specs and details of the one-of-a-kind Porsche Bisimoto 911BR, the car’s one of the most exquisitely modified vintage 911s built in a joint effort by Bisimoto Engineering and McKenna Porsche. This bespoke Porsche comes in Slate Gray and has Fuchs alloys, lowered suspension, a 3.6 liter engine with a late model GT3 intake manifold, fully sequential fuel injection and a custom fabricated pulse chamber exhaust system.
With 316 horsepower and just 2,400 pound to carry around, the 911BR is also pretty quick, although something this cool is more intended for cruising than racing. The builder of this car claim it is what Steve McQueen would have ordered if he was alive.
1980 Porsche Bisimoto 911BR Specs (via Mecum):
  • Custom-built Porsche 911 by Bisimoto Engineering
  • Bisimoto combines modern automotive advances with the romanticism and beauty of classis vehicles

Volkswagen has launched a new version of the iconic Beetle in the UK featuring new styling details and upgraded specs. Don’t expect a whole new car though, as 2017 VW Beetle comes only with a revised bumper and some new fog lamps.
That’s about it really, except for the new R-Line trim, which is the highlight of 2017 VW Beetle range. The R-Line gets a sporty front apron with extra air intake openings along the upper edge of the bumper. Brighter instrument panel lighting and new dials and dash styling for the Design and R-Line models as well as refreshed upholstery design are among the other notable upgrades.

2017 Audi R8 Spyder Priced from £130K in the UK

Audi R8 Spyder price uk 0 600x343 at 2017 Audi R8 Spyder Priced from £130K in the UK
The all-new drop-top 2017 Audi R8 Spyder is now available to order in the roadster-loving Great Britain. The new super car is priced from £129,990 which puts in the same category as many an excellent offerings from English and other German manufacturers.
To beat them for your money the 2017 Audi R8 Spyder relies many on its enticing blend of power, performance, and practicality. This is one of the very few super cars you can actually drive everyday if you want, and with the Spyder version you of course have the folding soft top which disappears in a mere 20 seconds and gives you access to the infinite sky.
Powering this technically brilliant but visually not so appealing exotic is a naturally aspirated V10 engine mated to a seven-speed S tronic transmission and a newly designed quattro drive system. It makes 540PS of power and 540 Nm (398.3 lb-ft) of torque which is enough for accelerating from 0 to 62mph in just 3.6 seconds and achieving a top speed of 197 mph. Meanwhile it returns an average fuel consumption of 24 mpg with 277 grams CO2 per kilometer.
The highlights of 2017 Audi R8 Spyder equipment-wise include the fully digital Audi Virtual Cockpit, the Audi smartphone interface and internet-based Audi Connect services.

Bristol Bullet Set for Salon Prive Debut

Bristol Bullet prv 600x327 at Bristol Bullet Set for Salon Prive Debut
With Uk economy and manufacture experiencing a very healthy period, some of the old sports car brand which we thought were gone for ever are coming back. TVR is one of them, and now also Bristol, who is bringing a new speedster model to this year’s Salon Prive in form of the new Bristol Bullet.
Designed to reflect the traditional look of a Bristol with a little bit of vintage flavor, Bristol Bullet has rather a peculiar look about it which some will find utterly fascinating and some younger audience distasteful. The car’s got all the features of a proper speedster, though, with a short windscreen, sloping long bonnet, and an exquisite but rather cramped leather interior.
The oldtimey looks of the Bristol Bullet are somewhat deceiving because what’s underneath is pretty modern. The construction is largely carbon fiber, and the powertrain is a BMW V8 which is like the iPhone of sports car engines. The car can reach a top speed of 155 mph which is okay for a speedster, but of how it handles we know nothing at the moment. We’re going to have to wait for Salon Prive to find out more.
Julian Ramshaw, General Manager of Bristol Cars Ltd, said: “The BULLET celebrates 70 years of design and innovation at Bristol Cars. This unique speedster sets the tone for the future of Bristol Cars – with a focus on luxury, performance and elegance it really is the ultimate driver’s car.  We are delighted that the first public showing of the Bristol BULLET will be at Salon Prive.’’
