Following last week's teaser, Donkervoort has officially unveiled the new D8 GTO Bilster Berg Edition.Named after the Bilster Berg circuit in Germany, the special edition has a new front fascia with carbon fiber slates that give the model an "even meaner" appearance. The car also has special badging and a revised roll cage.
Interior changes are limited but the car features a digital instrument cluster, a data logger and GPS navigation. There's also lightweight carpets, a dashboard plaque and carbon fiber seats which are upholstered in special leather.
Detailed performance specifications were not released but Donkervoort confirmed the model has an Audi-sourced 2.5-liter TFSI five-cylinder engine which is backed by an ultra-light flywheel and a race clutch.
Speaking of performance, the car has been equipped with a sport-tuned suspension with new springs and dampers as well as a new rear anti-roll bar. Last but not least, there's special semi-slick tires developed by Hankook.
Production will be limited to 14 units and pricing starts at €194,000 (including a 21% VAT).
