Kia Soul EV Smitten Concept set for SEMA Show

The annual Specialty Equipment Market Association Show takes place early next month in Las Vegas, and as usual, numerous manufacturers will roll out a host of intriguing one-offs and potential limited-production models to wow the assembled crowds. Although most will highlight hard-core on/off-road performance modifications, Kia Motors America has taken the wraps off a vehicle that bucks the prevailing trend: the Soul EV Smitten Ice Cream Concept.



Presenting its greenest production model as a refreshing retro-look support vehicle to complement its "Day at the Races" theme, Kia recast the Soul EV as a stylized ice cream dispenser complete with a custom aero-designed trailer. While promising to unveil a number of other more conventional - and unconventional -- SEMA-spec exercises on its stand, we're betting plenty of attendees also will be smitten by the inherent charm this particular Kia offering.
