First Production Koenigsegg One:1 Arrives in Germany

Just after it emerged that the first Koenigsegg One:1 customer car had been officially registered for road use in Germany, the first image of the car has hit the web. It shows the incredible carbon-fibre clad Swedish hypercar at a Germany wrapping facility presumably to get a clear protective wrap to guard the bodywork.
Visually, this One:1 is the same as one revealed at the Goodwood Festival of Speed 2014 a few months ago. As a result, it features gloss carbon fibre across the entire body as well as gold accents and pinstripes. It also features gold painted brake calipers.

As we revealed a few days ago, when the Koenigsegg One:1 was registered in Germany, it actually caused a computer glitch because it delivers exactly 1000 kw (1341 hp) and Germany’s system only accepted cars with kilowatts in the three figure range.
Alongside the insane power figure, the One:1 pumps out 1371 Nm of torque. When combined with an overall weight of just 1341 kg, the One:1 features a perfect 1 hp to 1 kg power to weight ratio. The only other production car to achieve such a figure is the Hennessey Venom GT.
The Koenigsegg One:1 is expected to reach speeds in excess of 450 km/h so aerodynamics are key to the One:1 package. Thanks to the new front facia and the Le Mans prototype inspired rear wing, downforce at 260 km/h is equal to 610 kg whilst at 440km/h, the One:1 develops 830 kg. The One:1 is able to pull 2G’s of force in the corners!
