Holden badge to take centre stage with Chevrolet at SEMA show

Holden badge to take centre stage with Chevrolet at SEMA show
The iconic Holden badge will take centre stage at next month’s SEMA aftermarket and accessories show in Las Vegas, appearing on the star of the Chevrolet stand.
The Chevrolet SS Sport concept will feature a host of styling enhancements, including familiar high-gloss black 20-inch wheels, floor mats and boot cargo tray all adorned with Holden’s lion logo.
Chevrolet says the SS Sport concept is inspired by the US company’s motorsports heritage and the car’s Australian lineage, and the result is a vehicle that wouldn’t look out of place in Blacktown or Frankston, with Chevy badges on its nose and tail and Holden livery elsewhere.

Other Chevrolet Accessories enhancements include a unique grille kit, fog lamp bezels, side vents, rear spoiler, bonnet and boot lid stripes, sports pedals, and cargo net.
The Chevrolet SS Sport concept is finished in Some Like It Hot red paint, which is new for 2015 for the Americanised Commodore along with a six-speed manual transmission option, Magnetic Ride Control suspension, and Brembo rear brakes.

Sitting alongside the SS Sport concept is another tricked-up version of an Australian-made car, the Cruze RS Plus concept.
The extensive styling package includes unique Wildfire Metallic paint, unique body mouldings, a custom rear spoiler, and a matt black twin stripe package, while the cabin gains sports pedals, Kicker subwoofer and amplifier, ambient lighting and illuminated door sills.

The hotter styling is matched under the bonnet by a performance-enhancing stage kit from Chevrolet Performance and a concept fresh-air intake system for the 1.4-litre four-cylinder turbo petrol engine.
The duo will be joined at SEMA on November 4-7 by two Chevrolet Sonic ( Barina ) Performance and Accessories concepts and the Impala Blackout concept.
