American tuning shop Hennessey Performance Engineering, the same company which produces the incredibly fast Venom GT, offers comprehensive tuning packages for an array of American and European cars. One frequent sight in HPE’s workshop is Chevrolet’s fifth-generation Camaro, which they offer a variety of upgrade packages for with varying amounts of power.
The company recently released photos of this black-on-black 2014 Camaro ZL1 equipped with its HPE750 package. The HPE750 package consists of ported cylinder heads, an HPE air induction system, a custom camshaft, upgraded valve train components, stainless steel headers and high flow catalytic converters, an upgraded supercharger pulley, a fuel system upgrade and more.
HPE claims the upgrades result in 750 horsepower from the ZL1’s 6.2-liter supercharged V8, 170 more than the car has from the factory.Chevrolet claims the ZL1 will accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 4.0 seconds and on to a top speed of 181 mph, figures which have surely improved with the Hennessey upgrades,
