The modifications for the 2015 Ford Mustang
are proceeding at a rapid clip, even before the car is officially
launched to the public. Today, Hennessey announced pricing for its
HPE600 and HPE700, as well as the CarbonAero appearance package and HPE+
wheel and exhaust packages.
First up, the HPE600, which gets an upgrade to 620 hp and 595 lb-ft via a
2.3-liter supercharger system and a range of internal engine upgrades.
The car also gets unique tuning, badging, floor mats, and more. It
starts from $14,950 on top of the price of the Mustang itself. Best of
all for California residents, it’s CARB compliant.
Next, the HPE700,
rated at 717 horsepower, this Hellcat-killer also packs 632 lb-ft of
torque, this time through a 2.9-liter supercharger system. Also included
are upgraded fuel injectors, pump, air intake, and more, plus the
badging, floor mat, and other upgrades of the HPE600. Price? $17,950.
For those who’d like their 2015 Mustang to look Henessey-bad, whether
boosted with an HPE600 or HPE700 package or not, there’s the CarbonAero
kit, which adds a unique front splitter, side sills, and rear lip
spoiler, for a price of $7,450. Individually, the CarbonAero splitter
costs $2,850, the side sills are $2,950, and the rear lip spoiler is
$1,750.
Finally, the HPE+ upgrades include a choice of H10 lightweight 19- or
20-inch wheels, installed from $6,950, and a stainless steel exhaust
system priced at $2,450.
