The 2016 Shelby GT350 Mustang may have been in the limelight in recent days for obvious reasons: it packs a 5.2-liter flat-crank V8 with over 500 ponies, it’s still all-motor, looks menacing and might go for $52,995 when it will go on sale sometime next year.

But if you don’t need the out-and-out performance, the hard suspension setup and the 20 grand heftier price tag over a 2015 Ford Mustang GT fastback, then you might be interested in what we’ve stumbled upon on the Internet - the dazzling 2015 Shelby GT.

What you can see in the photo gallery below is Shelby American’s creation and it was spotted for the first time ever by Damon Lavrinc of Jalopnik and Chris Cantle of Road&Track. Where? Apparently, the two automotive journalists spotted it at a local launch event for the Ducati Scrambler motorbike, which was held in sunny Palm Springs, California.

The silver-ish front upper and lower radiator grilles, a vented bonnet dominated by a power dome, little deck lid spoiler at the rear and aerodynamic diffuser pretty much sums up this visual package from the tuner. As for those wheels, they aren’t too Shelby for our liking, while the cabin appears untouched.

Under the hood, don’t expect more than the same N/A 5-liter Coyote V8 with 435 horsepower on tap. Being just a Shelby GT, this is all show and no extra oomph. As for pricing, there’s no word on that yet, but we do expect something near the $15,000 mark, on top of the 2015 Mustang GT's $32,100 MSRP.

Regarding the much more exciting 2015 Shelby GT/SC, that yet-to-be-spied supercharged bad boy Shelby American package will start from around $25,000 and come with approximately 650 horsepower.
