Driven for only 28,000 miles
A rare 1991 BMW 8 Series Coupe by Alpina is up for grabs at
Hemmings for $75,000.
One of the only two cars of this kind in United States, this
1991 BMW Alpina E31 B12 5.0 has been imported from Japan and comes with a Diamant
Schwarz Metallic paint combined with a Leder Nappa/Schwarz interior. It is
powered by the mighty V12 5.0-liter engine developing 350 PS (257 kW) and 470
Nm (347 lb-ft) of torque.
Back
in the day it was able to run the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h)
sprint in 6.8 seconds before topping out at more than 174 mph (280
km/h), not too
shabby for a car that's almost a quarter of a century old. This
particular
vehicle has been driven for only 28,000 miles (45,061 km) and appears to
be in
top notch condition. If you decide to buy it, we have to warn you the
fuel consumption in the city stands at 19.4 liters / 100 km (12.1 mpg US
or 14.5 mpg UK), according to Alpina.
