Torque limited to 1,100 Nm
A heavily modified Mercedes-Benz G65 AMG by Brabus is up for
grabs at Al-Ain Class Motors in Dubai, UAE.
Several days ago we saw a striking blue
Mercedes-AMG GT S at Al-Ain Class Motors and now they are back with
another
gem, a Brabus 800 based on the V12-powered Mercedes-Benz G65 AMG. We
checked
the press release of a previous Brabus 800 model and the upgrades are
spread over two pages as the legendary
off-roader has received a plethora of tweaks. Needless to say, the most
important is the reworked 6.0-liter engine which now generates a
whopping 800 PS (588
kW) and 1,420 Nm of torque (electronically limited to 1,100 Nm) which
allows the G65 AMG hit 62 mph (100 km/h) from a standstill in just 4.2
seconds before topping out at 155 mph (250 km/h).
All that power is matched with a beefier WIDESTAR body kit
with carbon fiber vented hood, roof spoiler, front & rear fender flares,
front skirt, front bumper add-on along with extra LED daytime running lights. This
particular car also gets full red leather interior with carbon accents,
illuminated door sills with "Brabus" logo, as well as a rear seat entertainment
system and additional LED ambient lighting.
