Whereas the 1.2 petrol and 1.5 dCi turbo diesel are more affordable engines, the 2015 Nissan Note N-Tec Limited Edition can be had exclusively with the range-topping 1.2 DIG-S petrol, which promises 98 PS (96 horsepower) and 147 Nm (108 lb-ft) of torque.
It's not exactly a go-faster case, but the front-wheel drive econobox weighs around 1,193 kilograms (2,630 pounds), so it doesn't need that much oomph to keep the 5-speed manual happy.
Priced from £15,365 in the UK (around €20,680 at current rates), this little bugger here is based on the Note's highly equipped Acenta grade. From that solid basis, the N-Tec adds a bit of style for the mix.
If specialness is what you're after, the N-Tec boasts with 16-inch alloy wheels, the all-new Ink Blue exterior hue pictured in the photo gallery below, satin silver door handles and mirror caps that integrate LED turn indicators and N-Tec badging.
Other features unique to the N-Tec Limited Edition include rear window privacy glass, the Dynamic Styling Pack (sporty bumpers and side sills, gloss black radiator grille, black bezels for the headlights), as well as blue stitching for the leather-wrapped steering wheel and premium cloth seats for all five occupants.
The Nissan N-Tec Limited Edition brings the latest-gen NissanConnect infotainment system, automatic lights, wipers and air-con, a rearview camera and Blind Spot Warning, Lane Departure Warning and Moving Object Detection. The only notable optional extras come in the form of keyless entry and a starter button.
