Features the same hybrid system as the C350

Mercedes-Benz has taken the wraps off the Concept V-ision e plug-in hybrid at the Geneva Motor Show.
Based on the V-Class, the concept vehicle features the same plug-in hybrid system that powers the Mercedes-Benz C350. It consists of a 4-cylinder petrol engine with 210 HP (155 kW) and 350 Nm (258 lb-ft), combined with a 122 HP (90 kW) and 340 Nm (251 lb-ft) electric motor. The total system output is rated at 333 HP (245 kW) and 600 Nm (443 lb-ft) of torque.
The German manufacturer says the machine accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 6.1 seconds and has a top speed of 206 km/h (128 mph), making it faster than the V 250 BlueTEC top engine variant. The average fuel consumption stands at 3.0 liters per 100 km with CO2 emissions of 71 g/km. The MPV concept can travel up to 50 km in all-electric mode with up to 80 km/h (50 mph).
In terms of design, the model has new sporty bumpers and skirts, a rear spoiler and 20-inch multi-spoke alloy wheels. Inside the cabin the Concept V-ision e has a roof made of glass, white nappa leather for the two executive seats and two iPad holders integrated into the driver and front-passenger seat backrests.
