Dodge Challenger GT AWD Concept unveiled at SEMA

Dodge Challenger GT AWD Concept unveiled at SEMA

Following a preview last month, Dodge has officially unveiled the Challenger GT AWD concept.
Currently on display at SEMA, the one-off model is being described as a "year-round muscle car that lets you have your cake and eat it too."
Starting with the exterior, the model features a Destroyer Grey paint job with a Matte Black upper body and Header Orange accents.  The car has also been equipped with a wide body kit, a front splitter and rear spoiler.  Other highlights include a Satin Black fuel filler door, a four-tailpipe sports exhaust system and custom 20-inch five-spoke alloy wheels.
Moving onto the interior, there's Katzkin leather / suede seats with Header Orange contrast stitching.  The model also has a flat-bottom steering wheel, Challenger sill plates and a trunk mat.
Power is provided by a 5.7-liter HEMI V8 engine that has been equipped with the Scat Pack 3 Performance Kit which includes CNC-ported cylinder heads, hi-flow manifolds, hi-flow catalysts and new exhaust manifolds - among other things.  Dodge declined to say how much power the concept has but the performance package adds up to 75 bhp (56 kW) and 44 lb-ft (59 Nm) of torque.
The engine is connected to an eight-speed automatic transmission and an all-wheel drive system that promises to provide increased traction.
