BMW X4 M40i Long Beach Blue first real shots are out

BMW X4 M40i Long Beach Blue first real shots are out

Following its online reveal at the beginning of October, the BMW X4 M40i has now returned in the first batch of live images.
The pics were sent to our office by PalBaySpyShots and show the X4 M40i in the Long Beach Blue launch color before the SAV’s official public debut in January in Detroit. This is basically the next best thing to a fully-fledged X4 M and comes with a six-cylinder, 3.0-liter turbo engine pushing out 360 PS (265 kW) and 465 Nm (343 lb-ft). That’s enough for a 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) run in 4.9 seconds and an electronically-capped 155 mph (250 km/h).
This particular car looks exactly the same as the one from the official images and has those chunky 20-inch M light-alloy wheels along with Ferric Grey accents on the side mirrors and front air intakes.
As for pricing, it kicks off at €65,000 in Germany and from $57,800 (plus $995 destination and handling) in United States.
About that X4 M mentioned above, it could actually happen as BMW M chief, Frank van Meel, said at the beginning of the year both the X3 and X4 could get the full M treatment. He motivated the answer by adding there’s a business case for both models, so fingers crossed.
