It didn’t take long for the new Maserati Levante to hit the streets after its world debut at the Geneva Motor Show,
and now we get the first video reviews of the car and the official
pricing details. Looks like Maser is in a hurry to put this thing out
and get on with their other projects.
That’s fair enough, seeing as how much
time they wasted developing, redesigning and even renaming this product.
What they have ended up with seems like an acceptable effort, at least
on the surface. If it manages to trump the main rivals in the luxury SUV
segment in at least a few of the categories that matter, then we will
concede Maserati Levante is a class act.
Before we get to the information
regarding the pricing of the Levante, let’s check it out in action. The
commentary is Italian, but you don’t need words to understand the
language of beauty:
As for the official MSRP, Maserati
Levante starts at $72,000 for the 3.0-liter V6 model you see in this
video which boasts 345 horsepower and comes as standard with dual-zone
air con, infotainment with 8-inch display, premium audio and power
tailgate. $83,000 will buy you the Levante S with a much more exciting
425 horsepower output and the ability to hit 100 km/h from 0 in 5.0
seconds flat. Please note that these prices are before tax and delivery,
and do not include any of the optional packages and features.
