Porsche
is an expert in making ordinary cars looks special through the use of
rare color and little styling details, even if the car in question is a
boring mid-size crossover. This Porsche Macan Turbo would have an
uninteresting spectacle if it weren’t for its lovely Mexico Blue paint
job.
You can tell this Mexico Blue Porsche
Macan Turbo is a work of the car maker’s Exclusive department since it
also features a set of seriously cool black alloy wheels modeled on the
famous 911 FUCHS rims, complete with red brake calipers, black aero
parts, matte black tailpipes and badging. Sadly there aren’t any
pictures of the interior, but one would imagine there are more Mexico
Blue details to be found in there.
Porsche Macan Turbo is the
range-topping version of the baby Cayenne, powered by a 3.0-litre V6
biturbo engine delivering 340 bhp (250 kW). The car boasts a
sophisticated drivetrain featuring an active all-wheel drive with an
electronically controlled, map-controlled multi-plate clutch and a
seven-speed double-clutch transmission. It accelerates from 0 to 100
km/h in  in 5.4 seconds (or 5.2 seconds with the optional Sport Chrono package) and has a top speed of 254 km/h.
