Has a 3.0-liter V6 petrol engine
Mercedes-Benz has introduced the third member of the AMG
Sport family – the GLE 450 AMG 4MATIC.
Following the C450 AMG and the GLE 450 AMG Coupe, the third
AMT sport model comes with 20-inch 5-spoke alloys, new black trim for the front
bumper and twin chromed tailpipes. Inside the cabin we see sports seats in
nappa leather, sports steering wheel with flattened bottom, new aliminium trim
details, sports pedals from brushed stainless steel and others.
Just like the others AMG Sport vehicles, the GLE 450 gets a
3.0-liter V6 turbo petrol unit that produces 367 PS (270 kW) and 520 Nm (384 lb-ft) of
torque between 2,000 and 4,200 rpm. Power is channeled through a 9-speed 9G-TRONIC
automatic gearbox and a 4MATIC all-wheel drive system to all four wheels with
40:60 torque distribution (FA:RA).
Thanks to this setup, the machine accelerates from a
standstill to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 5.7 seconds and reaches a top speed of 250
km/h (155 mph). Average fuel consumptions stands at 8.6 liters per 100 km with
CO2 emissions of 199 g/km.
Other notable features of the GLE 450 are the sports suspension and the Sports Direct-Steer system tha provides sportier feeling behind the steering wheel.
