Prices start at 23,935 GBP
Two new versions for the Megane Renaultsport have been
announced by Renault.
Aimed to offer “all the thrills of the multi-award-winning,
high-performance Mégane Renaultsport at a more affordable price”, the models in
question are the 275 Cup-S and the 275 Nav. Both they are powered by the same
2.0-liter, 275 PS (202 kW) turbocharged petrol engine as the limited-edition 275
Trophy-R.
Starting with the cheaper 275 Cup-S, it features the Cup
chassis as standard and 250 PS (184 kW) in Normal mode that can be boosted to 275 PS (202 kW) in
Sport mode. It can be supplemented with a number of options developed in
conjunction with performance component producers, including Ohlins adjustable
dampers, Akrapovic lightweight titanium exhaust system, Michelin Pilot Sport
Cup 2 tires, etc. Prices for the model start at 23,935 GBP.
The second model in the new Megane RS line-up is the 275 Nav, which delivers identical performance to the 275 Cup-S from the same engine, but has a specification more suited to everyday road driving. It is fitted with the standard Sport chassis and 18-inch Tibor alloy wheels, while the Cup Chassis Pack is available as an option. The equipment also includes automatic lights and wipers, dual-zone climate control, hands-free keycard entry system, rear parking sensors with color camera, extra tinted rear side windows and tailgate, a sunvisor with illumination, chrome Renaultsport door sill plates, a 4x35W sound system and the R-Link2 multimedia and navigation system with live traffic updates. The car is available at 25,935 GBP.
