Newly established DS Automobiles has launched a limited-run
DS 3 Dark Light special edition in UK.
It's actually a follow-up to a black vinyl-wrapped DS 3
showcased earlier this year at the Goodwood Festival of Speed and will be
wearing a Perla Nera Black metallic paint combined with "Dark Light" vinyl wrap
graphics. The premium hatchback comes as standard with the proprietary DS LED Vision
headlights and rides on 17-inch black diamond-cut alloys featuring a Bellone
design. Other exterior enhancements include chrome-finished side mirrors and the
special badging on the front wings and tailgate.
The interior cabin has also received a series of
tweaks, such as new sport seats and front armrest, a black leather
package along with an aluminum pedal set. The DS 3 Dark Light also comes as
standard with the convenience pack which encompasses several useful goodies
like automatic headlights and wipers, auto-dimming rearview mirror and
electrically-folding mirrors. As you would expect, the interior cabin is
adorned with "Dark Light" badging placed on the dashboard and DS has also
installed a set of premium carpet mats to enhance the upscale feel.
The DS 3 Dark Light will be available exclusively with a PureTech
110 S&S gasoline engine sending 110 PS (81 kW) and 205 Nm (151
lb-ft) of torque to the front wheels with help from a six-speed automatic
transmission.
It's already available on order at a starting price of £20,795
OTR and only 300 units are planned for production.
