The bespoke and absolutely unique Ferrari F12 TRS, revealed earlier this year at Ferrari Cavalcade and later Goodwood FoS, was supposed to be a one-off. But it seems a customer has persuaded the company to build another one for him.
The owner of this TRS has evidently opted
for an all-black look, which if we’re honest does not look as striking
as the first red example. There is also the possibility that the Ferrari
F12 TRS was not a one-off at all, but rather a limited edition Berlinetta – something along the line with the F60 America – released as a concept to gauge the public’s interest.
We shall soon find out all about this
black prancing horse and its purpose, but we already know about its
mechanical features, which are of course identical to the F12
Berlinetta. There is a V12 engine underneath that bonnet, punching 740
horsepower, all of which is sent to the rear wheels via a 7-speed
dual-clutch transmission and a trick e-differential. Other highlights of
the TRS include the lack of a roof and a semi-bespoke interior with
special seats and upholstery, but F12 switchgear.
