While Lamborghini is looking into the future with a production version of the Urus, let's not forget about its past, and the brand's first ever SUV, the LM002.
Produced between 1986 and 1992, in just 301 units, it remains one of the rarest Lamborghinis out there, but one of them has been listed for sale on eBay. The vendor asks $449,888 and states that the rugged-looking SUV is equipped with the larger and newer Diablo block motor and heads, along with several cosmetic upgrades, all wrapped in the "America" package.
This LM002 was built in 1990 and it recently went through a 5-year mechanical and cosmetic restoration, a process during which "no expense was spared" and "no nut or bolt was left untouched", as more than $325,000 were spent. The SUV received a glossy black finish, on top of a black interior, and its mileage is documented, with the odometer currently indicating 11,972 miles (19,267 km).
Accompanying the Rambo-Lambo is a rear cargo tool box, rear tonneau cover, original keys ,books, jack, 2 ECU OEM computer units, Alpine stereo head unit with Bluetooth, Lamborghini LM/A floor mats and a copy of the original window sticker, which shows its MSRP of $158,000.
