We are fairly certain only a handful of you guys have heard of the Italian exotica Mazzanti Evantra.
That’s because this car is rare, built-to-order, and hugely expensive.
But finally one of these things was seen in the flesh the other day at a
track-day event by Exclusive Drive at the Le Mans circuit in France.
Yep, somebody’s decided the unique look
of Mazzanti Evantra, its 700 horsepower engine, and the fact that it’s
handbuilt in Italy, is worth the nearly 300K EUR asking price. The fact
that that kind of money can buy you all kinds of Astons and Ferraris and
Porsches notwithstanding, if it’s exclusivity you’re after, you can’t
do much better than the Evantra at that price.
Boasting an aerodynamic composite body,
the lightweight (1,300 KG) Mazzanti Evantra is powered by a massive 7.0
liter American V8 engine tuned in Europe to develop 701 hp and 848 Nm.
Equipped with a six-speed sequential gearbox, the car can sprint from 0
to 100 km/h in 3.2 seconds and reach a top speed of 350 km/h.
Other technical highlights of this rather
magnificent machines include 20″ OZ alloy wheels with Continental tires
255/30 R20 front and 305/25 R20 rear, Brembo brakes featuring 380mm
discs with 6 piston calipers in the front and 360mm discs with 4 piston
caliper is the back, drive mode selector, and Nardi steering wheel.
