BMW is celebrating its victory in the 2014 Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters (DTM) championship with two touring car-inspired models designed exclusively for the German market.

The first commemorative car is based on the entry-level 1-Series hatchback. Called DTM Sport Edition, it gains 18-inch alloy wheels, Xenon headlights and gloss black trim on the dashboard, the door panels and the center console. A full body kit that includes muscular-looking bumpers on both ends and side skirts rounds out the updates.

The DTM Sport Edition Package reportedly replaces the Sport Package for both three- and five-door 1-Series sold in Germany.

The second commemorative car is called M4 DTM Champion Edition. It stands out from a stock M4 thanks to rainbow-colored stripes on the hood and the trunk lid, orange trim around the kidney grilles and carbon fiber trim on the door mirrors, the front bumper, the air diffuser and the side skirts. Black 19-inch five-spoke alloy wheels wrapped by Michelin tires and the number 23 painted on both doors add a finishing touch to the race-inspired look.

Inside, the limited-edition M4 packs Alcantara upholstery on the steering wheel and the handbrake lever, pilot Marco Wittman's autograph on the door sills and the serial number engraved on the dashboard.

BMW has not made any mechanical modifications, meaning the DTM-inspired M4 is powered by a stock 3.0-liter straight-six engine that uses two turbochargers to generate 425 horsepower and 406 lb-ft. of torque. Equipped with a dual-clutch gearbox, the M4 reaches 60 mph from a stop in 3.9 seconds.

BMW will build just 23 examples of the M4 DTM Champion Edition. Pricing information will be published in the weeks leading up to the car's on-sale date.
