AUBURN HILLS, Michigan — The all-new 2015 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat muscle car starts at $64,990, including a $1,700 gas-guzzler tax and $995 destination charge, according to Chrysler.
The SRT Hellcat price includes one day of driving at the SRT Driving Experience. The car features the 707-horsepower supercharged 6.2-liter Hemi Hellcat V8 engine and eight-speed automatic transmission, along with an aluminum performance hood and SRT flat-bottom three-spoke steering wheel.
The base 2015 Dodge Charger SE starts at $28,990, including shipping, reflecting a $1,000 price increase over the 2014 model. Standard equipment includes a 5.0-inch touchscreen, leather-wrapped steering wheel and 7.0-inch driver information display. It is equipped with a 292-hp 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine and eight-speed automatic transmission.
The midlevel 2015 Dodge Charger R/T starts at $33,990, including shipping. Standard equipment includes a rear spoiler and steering-wheel-mounted paddle shifters. It is equipped with a 370-hp 5.7-liter Hemi V8 engine and eight-speed automatic transmission.
The 2015 Dodge Charger arrives at Dodge dealerships before the end of the year. Production of the 2015 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat is expected to start in the first quarter of next year.
Key rivals to the Dodge Charger Hellcat include the Chevrolet SS, Ford Taurus SHO and Hyundai Genesis.
