When Ford introduced the 2017 GT at the North American International Auto Show they would only say the car's twin-turbo 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 engine would produce more than 600 bhp (447 kW).
The company has so far declined to release the final numbers but the stats in Forza Motorsport 6 suggest the engine will be rated at 630 bhp (469 kW) and 539 lb-ft (730 Nm) of torque.  While those numbers should be taken with a grain of salt, it is worth noting the automaker worked closely with Microsoft’s Turn 10 Studios in order to get the car featured in the game.
As Ford's group vice president of Global Product Development, Raj Nair, pointed out earlier this year "Working with Microsoft and Turn 10 Studios allows us to share our all-new GT supercar with an unprecedented global audience – giving fans an opportunity to virtually experience the beauty, thrill and innovation of Ford’s performance lineup.”
