Debuts in New York

Subaru has unveiled the 2015 WRX STI rallycross car, ahead of its debut at the New York Auto Show.
Set to compete in the Red Bull Global Rallycross and the X Games Rallycross, the car is dubbed the VT15x and was built by Vermont SportsCar.
Subaru was coy on specifics but said the model features a widebody kit as well as METHOD race wheels.  The car also has improved aerodynamics, optimized weight distribution and a revised suspension geometry - among other things.
Power is provided by a 2.0-liter Boxer engine that produces 580 bhp (432 kW).  It is connected to a six-speed SADEV sequential transmission and an all-wheel drive system which enables the car to accelerate from 0-60 mph in two seconds flat.
