Honda Releases Official Prices, Photos For 2016 Civic Sedan

The 2016 Honda Civic sedan will start at $19,475, Honda officially announced today.
That price gets you an LX with the six-speed manual and the 2.0-liter, 158 horsepower four-cylinder engine. Most buyers are expected to go for the LX with the CVT automatic, starting at $20,275, including the $835 destination charge.
Moving up to EX, with features such as Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and Honda's LaneWatch camera pushes the price up to $21,875.
The turbocharged models start with the EX-T, carrying a 1.5-liter turbocharged four with 174 horsepower mated exclusively to the CVT transmission, for $23,035. For all models equipped with the automatic transmission, the Honda Sensing package of driver assistance technology such as adaptive cruise control, lane-keep assist and forward collision warning adds $1,000 to the price.
Finally, the new Touring model that's loaded with features such as LED headlamps, power front seats, navigation and the Honda Sensing suite of features is priced at $27,335. That's a lot of money for a Civic, but it's actually on the lower end when compared to fully loaded examples of rivals like the Ford Focus and Mazda 3.
We've driven the new Civic sedan and it's pretty impressive. Expect to see the car at U.S. Honda dealerships next month.
