2016 Hyundai Equus 0 600x381 at Official: 2016 Hyundai Equus
Hyundai has released a new, mildly updated version of its range-topping luxury sedan, the Equus, in the U.S. market. The 2016 Hyundai Equus is chockfull of advanced safety, convenience and connectivity features, and it also benefits from superior dynamics, according to the manufacturer.
Nothing has changed on the exterior of the Equus and you still get the same bulky body garnished with a good deal of chrome on the front grille and fascia and 19-inch turbine-design wheels. The same applies to the premium interior in terms of design, but then again, this car has so many features and equipment one would be glad they didn’t changes the location of all the knobs and switches!
An all-new feature of the 2016 Hyundai Equus is a hands-free trunk opening mechanism. It’s hardly an innovating feature, but Hyundai says theirs is better than that of the competitors since it operates if you stand close to the trunk with the keyfob on you. You don’t have to kick anything or do a dance with one leg for it to open.
The Korean automaker also boasts a lot about the dynamics of 2016 Hyundai Equus which features a rear-wheel-drive architecture, Continuous Damping Control (CDC), and 19-inch wheels with P245/45R19 front P275/40R19 rear tires. The car has a very good engine as well, a 5.0-liter Tau DOHC V8 with 429 horsepower and 376 lb.-ft. of torque.
Korea’s S-Class also comes with high-end features like multi-camera parking system, Hyundai Blue Link with care and rescue services, Lexicon audio system, and…

Refreshed BMW 6-Series Priced And Detailed In The UK

BMW updated its 6 Series with subtle cosmetic changes and small powertrains tweaks across its range.
The visual changes are really small, given that the last generation 6 Series didn’t really need an overhaul to remain relevant, and these are concentrated on the front and rear, with revised LED lights, a nine-bar grille instead of ten, redesigned bumpers, larger tailpipes, five new metallic paint finishes and of course newly designed alloys of up to 20 inches in diameter.
The dashboard now features as standard leather upholstery with contrast stitching to enhance the perceived quality and luxury while all the non M-cars now have a fully configurable digital instrument panel.
All the engines are now EU6 compliant, tweaked to emit less CO2 with the 313hp 640d Coupe managing an impressive 139g/km. The 450hp V8 650i models are still the fastest -bar M6- you can buy, with 0-60mph in just 4.6 seconds (0.3 seconds faster than before) and an electronically limited 155mph top speed.
All petrol models now come with a new sports exhaust which can be tuned by the flick of a button which according to BMW “adds a more intense timbre to the engine soundtrack”.
BMW is now offering its ConnectedDrive as standard, with a built-in sim card allowing to the driver access to Concierge Services, which include information like real-time traffic, BMW’s Teleservices, Intelligent Emergency Call and several other.
Prices start for the UK market at £59,430 for the 640i Coupe/Gran Coupe while the 650i Coupe/Gran Coupe starts at £69,790. The 560hp M6 begins at £92,350 for the Coupe model.

Can You Guess What Muscle Car And Retro Coupe Combined For This One-Off?

Yes, it is for sale.

You’re right in thinking that the car pictured here looks like no other. That’s because this car is a one-off, unless someone else combined a 1967 Volvo P1800 with a 1992 Chevy Corvette. As you can see the Volvo donated the looks and the Corvette gave basically everything else, including its 5.7-liter V8 engine. The body panels from the P1800 rest atop the Corvette, meaning you get 90s comfort and power in a car that offered none of those things.
The owner of this chimera has aptly dubbed it the Volvette 1800 and like most good things in life it can be yours for the right price. It’s currently for sale on eBay with a Buy It Now price of $45,000, although the eight bids currently submitted have only pushed the price as high as $19,100.
