Mercedes Opens C-Class Cabriolet Order Books , Prices Start From €42,215 In Germany

The open-top C-Class is currently launched across Europe with a wide range of powertrain and personalisation options.
Merc's entry-level convertible sports a fabric soft top that opens and closes in 20 seconds up to speeds of 50km/h (31 mph) and is available in four colors.
The engine range is the same with the hard-top coupe model, meaning customers in Europe will get to choose between no less than six petrol and two diesel units. Petrol versions kick off with the 156hp C180 version and reach all the way up to the 333hp C400 4Matic.
Diesel models use the 2.2-litre four-cylinder in two power guises, with 170 HP for the C220d and 204 HP for the C250d. The brand’s latest nine-speed 9G-Tronic automatic gearbox is available with all engines. Those looking for the extra traction of an all-wheel drive system will get the 4Matic option that is available with four engines in Europe. The new Mercedes C-Class Cabriolet is also the first model of its class to come with an optional air suspension.
The cabin can be fitted with 13 different upholstery options, seven trim variants and three colors for the soft top’s headliner. A host of active safety systems is also present, including the company’s Collision Prevention Assist Plus, Adaptive Brake Assist, Distronic Plus with Steering Assist and Stop&Go Pilot and the list goes on.
Pricing in Germany starts at 42,215 euros for the C180 Cabriolet and reaches all the way up to 59,767 euros for the C400 4Matic, the fastest version without having to opt for a fully fledged AMG model.

SsangYong Tivoli XLV

SsangYong Tivoli XLV 0 600x362 at Official: SsangYong Tivoli XLV
Even though it’s a neither-here-nor-there sort of car made by a largely unknown Korean car maker, we quite like the SsangYong Tivoli. It’s a cheap and funky crossover and from what we’re hearing it delivers good value and quality as well. Now there is a new version with an extended body.
The new SsangYong Tivoli XLV with its elongated body is apparently the car maker’s answer to those who liked the compact size of the crossover but wanted a bit more space in the back for carrying stuff. So while it has the same platform and 2,600mm wheelbase as the Tivoli, the XLV comes with a lengthened body from behind the C pillar.
The extra length is 238mm which translates into a more than decent 720 cubic litres of cargo space in the back. And that makes SsangYong Tivoli XLV one of the most practical cars in its class. When it launches this summer, you’ll be able to order the XLV with a Euro 6 compliant, 62 mpg 1.6 litre diesel engine and chose between a 6-speed manual and automatic and two- or four-wheel-drive.
“Following rapid growth in the compact SUV market, SsangYong responded in 2015 by launching Tivoli, its first small SUV, and already the company’s most successful new car.  Some 64,000 cars were manufactured and sold around the world last year,” said Paul Williams, CEO of SsangYong Motor UK.

2017 VW PinkBeetle

VW PinkBeetle 1 600x361 at Official: 2017 VW PinkBeetle
In one of the most ridiculous things they’ve ever done – and they’ve done a fair few – Volkswagen has launched a new version of the Beetle, the first car to be named as its own hashtag. They call it the PinkBeetle and insist we use the hashtag (i.e. #PinkBeetle) which we refuse to do. The car is silly enough being a Beetle and pink, it really doesn’t need that hashtag.
The reason Volkswagen has done these awful things to the poor Herbie is because, they say, they want to be a “social media influencer,” by which we reckon they mean they want to go viral. Now, as you know, in order to go viral on the social media you don’t necessarily have to be amazing. Most of the things that do go viral are silly stuff people share because they want to laugh at the sheer stupidity of the thing. So yes, VW PinkBeetle probably will go viral.

It comes with Fresh Fuchsia Metallic paint, 17-inch multi-spoke Linas aluminum-alloy wheels, a bunch of LED lights, Pink Club cloth seats, leather steering wheel and standard MIB II infotainment system with Apple Car and Android Auto features.

Spotted for Sale: Porsche 911 Sport Classic

Porsche 911 Sport Classic Sale 0 600x404 at Spotted for Sale: Porsche 911 Sport Classic
The 911 range has so many different editions and variant, there really is something for every taste. If we were to pick our most favorite among all those models, we’d have to go with Porsche 911 Sport Classic from the 997 generation because, as a wise but very slow man once said, it is like the 911 Greatest Hits.
Sadly Porsche only made 250 Sport Classic 997s and they are, naturally, among the most sough after modern classic 991s. So prices are heart-stoppingly high. Still, should you decide you fancy one enough to blow up all your savings on it, a pretty good Porsche 911 Sport Classic has become available at Hoefnagels showroom in the Netherlands.
As for what makes a Porsche 911 Sport Classic so desirable, as mentioned it boasts some of the best features of new and old 911s. Up front, for example, you get the same headlight bezel as the Porsche 911 Turbo RSR from 1974. Then we have the  ‘ducktail’ rear spoiler reminiscent of that made famous by the 1973 Carrera RS 2.7 and iconic ‘Fuchs-style’ design of the special custom-made alloy wheels.
Finished in Classic Grey with an interior in Espresso Nature, this Porsche 911 Sport Classic has around 40K kilometers on the clock of its 3.8 liter flat-six engine. Naturally, the car is loaded with such comfort and connivence features as were available back when it was launched.

Official: 2017 Audi A5 Coupe & S5 Coupe

If you are in the market these days for a sporty and elegant coupe Audi has just made your life a lot more complicating. They have revealed the new 2017 Audi A5 Coupe and S5 Coupe, and on the surface at least this pair is so good it’s probably worth waiting a few months for them to be launched.
Set to be released towards the end of this year, the new Audi A5 Coupe, and it’s extra-sporty variant the S5, comes with revised styling-  though as is always the case with Audis it’s hard to say what’s been revised apart from those weird headlights – improved aero, reduced weight, a host of new technology features and a range of powerful TDI and TFSI engines.
A total of five engines are available for the 2017 Audi A5 Coupe, including two TFSI and three TDI units, with power outputs ranging from 190PS to 286PS. But you don’t want an of that. What you want is the 345PS 3.0 TFSI V6 in the S5 Coupe, especially as it comes with an eight-speed tiptronic transmission and standard quattro all-wheel drive. Optionally, you can fit a ear-axle sport differential for even more dynamic driving.
Another highlight of the new A5 and S5 Coupe is  optional Audi virtual cockpit, a 12.3-inch TFT display with a resolution of 1,440 x 540 pixels which do away with the traditional instruments and dials for a more high-tech experience. Trouble is though, most good things about this car – the top-notch infotainment and sound system, Audi connect safety & service package, and… – are optional extras. The standard kit is just not very attractive.

2017 Nissan GT-R Premium Priced from $109,990

Nissan announced the official pricing for the new 2017 GT-R Premium, the first of four grade levels to be launched in mid-July. That makes the 2017 Nissan GT-R Premium the base model and yet it cost $109,990. This car is no longer a giant slayer. It’s become a giant itself.
Remember back when they pitched the GT-R as the performance bargain of the century? The soon figured they were charging way too little for what the car offered in terms of power and performance and kept bumping it with every new model. That brings us to the 110 grand 2017 Nissan GT-R Premium and its 565 horsepower engine, its supposedly refined interior, enhanced ride comfort and advanced technology.

That’s the suggested manufacturer’s price that 110 grand, mind you. By the time this thing arrives in the showroom and the dealer adds his cut and the shipping company add theirs, the end user could end up paying well into 120s, and I’m sorry, but that kind of money can get you much nicer stuff than a GT-R. You can get a pretty well-specced 911 for that, or one of AMG’s high-powered luxury models.

Still, should you decided the 2017 Nissan GT-R Premium is the car for you, the list of kit you get with this trim level include items such as semi-aniline leather in Rakuda Tan, Amber Red and Ivory, NissanConnectSM with Navigation, Mobile Apps and Services, Active Noise Cancellation and Active Sound Enhancement technologies as well as acoustic glass and targeted sound dampening features.
