Zotye T700
No imagination whatsoever
Zotye Auto is ready to introduce the T700 crossover which as
you can see is a Porsche Macan imitator.
Scheduled to go on sale next year, the Zotye T700 is
basically a shameless design copy of the Porsche Macan as basically all the
body panels look virtually the same and even the lighting clusters and door
handles have an almost identical appearance while the rectangular exhaust tips
are clearly taken from the Macan Turbo. The headlights and taillights are also
heavily derived from those of the Macan and we won't be too surprised if the
interior cabin has been copied as well, but obviously with less premium materials to keep the price tag down.
Power of the Zotye T700 will come from a four-cylinder,
2.0-liter turbocharged gasoline engine with 177 bhp (132 kW) and there also might be a
beefier V6 3.0-liter turbo but its output is not known at this moment.
It will carry a starting price of 170.000 yuan (about
$27,400) so it will be way cheaper than the Porsche Macan which in China kicks
off at 558,000 yuan (almost $90,000).
