Originally unveiled at the North American International Auto Show, the Ram 1500 Rebel is an off-road inspired truck that features a rugged front fascia with a powder-coated front bumper, a silver skid plate and two recovery hooks. The model also has LED-infused headlights, a revised grille and an aluminum "twin-snorkel sport hood."
Interior changes are relatively limited but include two-tone seats with a tire-inspired tread pattern. The model also has heated front seats, embroidered headrests and Iron Gray Metallic trim.
Under the hood, two engines different are available. The 3.6-liter V6 produces 305 bhp (227 kW) and 269 lb-ft (364 Nm) of torque, while the 5.7-liter HEMI V8 develops 395 bhp (294 kW) and 410 lb-ft (555 Nm) of torque.
In related news, the company confirmed the Ram 1500 Laramie Limited will carry a base price of $50,675.
While it's not cheap, the truck features LED-infused headlights, additional chrome trim and 20-inch forged aluminum wheels. The model also has side steps and a new tailgate with a massive “RAM” badge.
The exterior styling won't win everyone over but the cabin comes nicely equipped with Black Natura Plus leather seats, Graystone leather piping and real Black Argento wood trim. The model also has a leather / wood steering wheel, K-black Dark Metallic accents and a revised center console with a French-stitched leather lid and a tambour wood sliding door.
