Ford has revealed its sales figures for the 2015 Mustang for the month of November with a 62 per cent increase being recorded over the same month last year.
In total, 8728 Ford Mustangs were sold last month with the range-topping Mustang GT leading the pack and accounting for 52 per cent of sales. It was then followed by the entry-level V6 variant and the brand new EcoBoost turbocharged Mustang both on 24 per cent of the range respectively.
In line with the increase in Mustang sales, the two largest markets of the America muscle recorded impressive gains. In Texas, sales were up by 46 per cent over November last year while in California, sales increased by 76 per cent.
So far, Ford’s Flat Rock Assembly Plant in Michigan has produced more than 20,000 Mustang fastbacks with deliveries to dealers in the U.S. and Canada underway. Preparations to export the Mustang to Europe and Asia are now underway.
