One of the most highly anticipated sports cars to be launched next year is Porsche Cayman GT4; a hard-core version of the Cayman GTS.
The car has been scooped testing out in the wild a number of times, but
these latest series of pictures reveal new details about it.
Caught on a busy highway somewhere in Germany, this Porsche Cayman GT4 prototype
is lightly camouflaged and reveals a good deal about how the car is
going to look. Not that there’s going to be radical changes, of course.
The GT4 will be mainly distinguished over normal models due to it rear
spoilers, larger wheels, and clear taillight lenses.
The new spyshots give you a good look at the new aero features of Porsche Cayman GT4, including the double
spoiler system at the back consisting of a ducktail wing and a fixed,
GT-style spoiler. Combined with that neat rear diffuser and the lowered
ride height, not to mention the larger wheels, the GT4 will certainly
have tons more downforce than normal models.
The Cayman GT4 will also get more power
from its flat-six engine, but don’t expect a major upgrade over the
Cayman GTS. After all, Porsche does not want the Cayman to be faster
than the 911.
