A
lot of people believe that Ferrari Dino is not a real Ferrari, because,
well, they didn’t put a Ferrari badge on it when it was first launched.
But it’s a low-slung, mid-engined, Italian sports car. That recipe is
always desirable, whatever it’s called.
What’s more, Ferrari Dino was built as a
tribute to Enzo’s son, Alfredo ‘Dino’ Ferrari, who tragically died after
a long illness. So it was a personal project for Enzo, which makes this
model all the more special.
This pristine 1972 Dino is one of Kahn Automobiles treasured classic models,
maintained in perfect condition. It is one of the 497 M-Series models.
It is powered by a punchy a 195 bhp, 2,418 cc DOHC V-6 engine,mated to a
five speed manual transmission.
A Euro-spec model, this Ferrari Dino also benefits from four wheel
ventilated disc brakes and telescopic shock absorbers, as well as fully
independent suspension with coilovers. Above all, it has an immaculate
red finish. You know what, it ticks all the right boxes for a proper
Ferrari!
