Porsche 997 GT2 with Superb Specs Spotted for Sale

Porsche 997 GT2 Sale 0 600x360 at Porsche 997 GT2 with Superb Specs Spotted for Sale
If you are dismayed by how easy the new generation of hard-core Porsche 911s are to drive and want something a bit more… manly, we have good news. A daisy fresh 2008 Porsche 997 GT2 has become available for sale at Hoefnagels showroom, and it has some juicy specs.
Priced at €184,500, this yellow Porsche 997 GT2 is more than a 100 grand cheaper than a new 991 GT3 RS and about three times more terrifying to drive. But that’s a good thing. The fear factor is what attracts Porsche enthusiasts to the GT2 series, and the 997 has that in spade. What we have here is a 3.6 liter 530 horsepower rear-wheel-drive version of the Turbo with a manual gearbox and not much in the way electronic overlords.
The yellow finish on this car may lead some people to mistake it for a GT3, but there is a prominent GT2 badge at the back for clarification, and GT2-spec wing and bumper as well. What’s more, this Porsche 997 GT2 has exclusive 19 inch wheels and a custom interior featuring leather and Alcantara upholstery, carbon bucket seats, SportChrono package as well as PCM infotainment, air con, yellow stitching and dashboard trim, yellow seatbelt, yellow floor mat edges, but red instrument dials which is a bit odd.

2017 Citroen C3 Revealed with Super Funky Design

2017 Citroen C3 0 600x374 at 2017 Citroen C3 Revealed with Super Funky Design
In a clear attempt to regain some of lost glory of the olden days when they made nothing but cool and funky cars, Citroen has come up with a new version of the C3 which is unlike anything else you’ve seen in this segment. The new Citroen C3 looks fresh and bold and really funky, but we’re afraid they may have gotten a bit carried away with it.
The old funky Citroens all had a certain elegance and charm that marked them aside from the regular Euro boxes of the day. The new C3 doesn’t. It has got the funky part down really well but there is no trace of elegance in it. The result is a car that suits people only between the ages of 16 and 18, preferably female. If you are older than that and drive a 2017 Citroen C3 you’ll look spectacularly ridiculous.
The keyword in the design of the new Citroen C3 is customizability. The car maker has apparently surveyed young people and found they are very fond of their smartphones. So they decided to make a smart car… of sorts. You can customize the look of your C3 the way you can choose the cover of your phone. There’s an on-board HD camera that allows drivers to share their road-trip photos and videos directly with friends and family. And you even get Citroen’s Airbump panels on the outside which are like a bumper for an iPhone and protect the car against bumps and scratches.
The C3 comes with a tone of two-tone paint options as well as three color options for the roof and you also can choose the color of fog lights, door mirrors, rear quarter panels and Airbump panels. The spacious and comfy interior with its panoramic sunroof and keyless entry and start can be customized with four different colors. As for the powertrain, the least important part of the car, it can be had with a range of PureTech petrol and BlueHDi Diesel engines, and the latest generation EAT6 fully automatic gearbox.

Audi Q2 – UK Pricing and Specs

The brand-new Audi Q2 compact crossover has been steadily maturing since its debut at the Geneva Motor Show earlier this year. It is now ready to be ordered in the UK, but it’s not ready for use yet. The first deliveries will arrive in Blighty in November.
Prices for the 2017 Audi Q2 start at £20,230 which sounds reasonable for a German crossover, but there are two problems with it. First, for the same sort of money you can get a much bigger car if you go Korean, Japanese, or Czech. And second, as is always the case with Audi, most of the good stuff in terms of equipment are optional extras. A loaded Q2 that is livable runs for £30,610.

But if you are set on a Q2 because you look it cutesy rugged looks, you should know the base SE model comes with Audi smartphone interface, which supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto via MMI screen, USB, blue teeth, heated, electrically adjustable exterior mirrors, and that’s about it. If you want anything fancier you have to shell out £1,550 for the Sport trim which adds 17-inch alloy wheels, Audi drive select with five operational modes, cruise control, light and rain sensors and sport seats upholstered in cloth, as well as a SD card slot! Above that there is the S Line trim which costs an extra £2,250 on top of Sport, adding 18-inch alloy wheels, LED headlamps with LED rear lights and dynamic sweeping rear indicators, LED interior lighting, inlays finished in brushed aluminium and front sport seats upholstered in cloth/leather upholstery with S embossing on the backrests and a leather steering wheel. Other optional goodies include Audi virtual cockpit and the head-up display, the driver assistance systems, adaptive cruise control with Stop & Go function, and…

A three-cylinder 1.0 TFSI with 115PS and a four-cylinder 2.0 TDI with 150PS will become available later in the year. Four-wheel-drive is only available for the 2.0 TDI version.

Cadillac announced a host of upgrades for their two best-selling four-door sedan models in the American market. The changes are mostly cosmetic, but both ATS and CTS benefit from new features and equipment, plus value-added packages, as well.
In terms of design, the 2017 Cadillac CTS comes with a new grille design in the front fascia and an all-new rear fascia with vertical exhaust orientation and new rear valence. The car also gets a Carbon Black sport package, two new exterior colors and new wheels. As for the new equipment, Rear Camera Mirror and updated Cadillac CUE infotainment with standard myCadillac Mobile App and Teen Driver and Cadillac Collection are among the main highlights.
The 2017 Cadillac ATS, meanwhile, remains unchanged in appearance but it gets a fully loaded Cadillac CUE infotainment system (standard on the Turbo variants of both coupe and sedan models) featuring Apple CarPlay and Android Auto advanced smartphone integration and available 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot. And if you want comfort and fun you go V-Sport Premium.

The First Ever Shelby Cobra Is Going Under The Hammer

And it'll be worth every penny.

It's very rare to come across the "first ever" of something in a motoring auction. Yes, we know this week also saw the announcement that the inaugural production Lotus Elite would be going under the hammer at the Silverstone Classic. But on the whole you're more likely to find "the very first x" hidden away in an air-conditioned lockup than on the auction block. As such we were shocked to hear that RM Sotheby's will be featuring the first ever Shelby Cobra in its Monterey auction this August.
The First Ever Shelby Cobra Is Going Under The Hammer
Often referred to in Shelby aficionado circles by its "CSX 2000" chassis number, this particular Cobra easily ranks up there as the most important car that Shelby has ever made. It was this very car, for instance, that the late Carroll Shelby and his team used to figure out how to cram a 4.2-liter small-block Ford V8 into a tiny AC Ace roadster. It was also used as a test bed for the cars that eventually became known as the Shelby Cobra 260. Furthermore, it's likely this Cobra variant is the most widely seen example ever built. Not only was it frequently demonstrated in motor shows across the US, but all the early road tests of the Cobra 260 were completed in this very example.
If that resume wasn't enough to make this particular Cobra tempting enough, it's also in incredibly original condition. That's as expected from a much-coveted car that's been owned by the company since the day it was founded. Okay, so the 260's not in concourse spec, but this specific Shelby was kept under the stewardship of the late Carroll Shelby right up to his death in 2012. That little detail is probably enough to tip the values of this inaugural Cobra into sky high territories. Shelby Cobra 260s were already creeping into the $2,000,000+ figures in 2013, so lord only knows what an example as significant as this will fetch at the Monterey auction this August!

The New Panamera Will Feature A 700-HP Porsche 918 Spyder Imitator

Is this the dawn of the four-door hypercar?

This week, Porsche peeled the wraps off of its new and improved Panamera, an aluminum-bodied sedan that just one day into its lifespan has already accomplished quite a bit. It managed dethrone the Alfa Romeo Giulia as the fastest car around the Nurburgring while stealing hearts from the few who were holding out for a more visually attractive option to hit the market. However, the Panamera Turbo that ripped apart the record book may not even end up being the fastest version of the car out there.
The New Panamera Will Feature A 700-HP Porsche 918 Spyder Imitator
Currently, there are three Panamera variants on the market, the 4S, the Turbo, and a diesel. Soon, a Turbo S model may hit the market with a 30 horsepower bump over the standard Turbo's 550 hp, but that won't be all. During the Porsche’s unveiling in Berlin, Germany, it was casually mentioned that two plug-in hybrid Panameras would follow the current three cars. Naturally, we would assume that one of those would be geared towards the eco conscious buyers who gravitated towards the last generation hybrid. Interestingly enough, that may not be the case at all for the second hybrid. Instead, it may use its hybrid drivetrain to power high G launches and high-speed corner exits much in the same way that the Porsche 918 Spyder does.
Using electric motors to supplement the twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 could harvest as much as 700 horsepower and 800 lb-ft of torque that would be split between all four tires. If you’re thinking, “wow, that’s almost a four-seat 918,” then you’re exactly right because that’s how the car was described to Motor Trend. We've called for a four-door hypercar before, and it seems Porsche may have heard us. With a 150 horsepower advantage over the Panamera Turbo, we imagine that the hybrid would make that car’s Nurburgring lap time of 7:38 look slow. It isn’t clear when either of the hybrids will be announced, but given that the initial three variants will go on sale in January of 2017, we can expect the extra information in the coming months.
