We don't even want to know the total cost.
 A
Saudi Arabian prince has struck gearhead gold, buying both the Bugatti
Chiron and the one-of Bugatti Vision Gran Turismo concept car, with the
automaker announcing the sale on Instagram.
In case you were wondering the lucky and very wealthy royal is Prince
Badr bin Saud, whose fortune was estimated to be in the range of $21
billion. Now when you have that much money you're not content with just
any old Chiron. No, Saud wanted the Chiron that was shown off at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show.
Such a
special request likely came with a special price, although we doubt an
extra hundred thousand (or a few million) was an impediment to the
prince's pursuit. The base price for a Chiron is $2.6 million. The base
price for a one-off Bugatti designed for a video game is...well we have
no idea. As expected Bugatti didn't release any details regarding the
total cost of both cars. What we do know is that both the Chiron
(although maybe not Saud's Chiron) and the Vision GT concept will be at
Pebble Beach for the 2016 Concours d'Elegance. No word if the prince
will be lurking in the crowd to watch over his prized possession but we
wouldn't fault him if he was.
